I love this product. I went with it because I trust anything Victoria's Secret. I honestly thought it would be more expensive but it was only $12. I recommend buying it in store as opposed to online because shipping can add a couple bucks. This product didn't make me orange or anything and stayed on about a week. I've tried & tested many self tanners (being a fair-skinned redhead) and this is by far the best one I have used. I absolutely hate the starchy smell of tanners & this one has a pleasant fruity smell. It has an instant bronze to it, with a nice shimmer - perfect for applying before hitting the beach. The tan is a nice subtle golden glow after 8 hours. Its easy to apply but again, use sparingly around knees & ankles. I love love love the color I get from this lotion. It's natural looking, even, and glowy, not streaky or orange. I started out with absolutely no color (I have very fair skin), and a few days later I had a nice tan. It lasts a few days before it starts getting a little faded and patchy, but it's cheap so I buy a few bottles at a time. While this is definitely the best self-tanning lotion I've ever tried, I do have a few complaints. After using it for a few weeks, I noticed my skin was extremely dry. Never heard of a lotion making skin dry, but it does. Also, I have a lot of blackheads and pimples on my chest since I started using it. Oddly, I use it on my face and haven't had any acne problems there, but my chest is all broken out from it. Overall I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, so I'm a loyal customer. |
