Finally a 100% natural sun care product that contains no harsh chemicals. Eco-friendly, biodegradable, SPF 50, all natural, water resistant sunscreen. Mexitan originated as a secret recipe of the natives of Acapulco. Each ingredient serves its own special purpose in nourishing, protecting, and moisturizing the skin. Mexitan contains Green Tea, which numerous studies have revealed helps protect from sunburn and may reduce skin damage from sun radiation. Combined with mineral sunscreen, Mexitan provides safe broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. MEXITAN DOES NOT CONTAIN NANOPARTICLES. Unlike some products that contain extremely small nanoparticles that may be absorbed into the bloodstream, the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide used in Mexitan is micronized (NOT nanoparticles), with a coated variable particle size greater than 100nm but less than 500nm. (Nanoparticles are considered to be less than 100nm in size). This allows our sunscreen lotions to be more cosmetically appealing compared to coarser particles. The protection is less visible, yet remains on the skin's surface.

It has a subtle but pleasing green tea fragrance and probably works great, but be forewarned that it will make you noticeably WHITE and is annoyingly difficult to rub in, despite it's liquid consistency. If you're hiking with buddies in the woods, no one is going to care. But if you're looking for a good beach sunblock that won't make you look like a corpse, this is not the product for you. Shake the product well to mix the solids with liquid. The solvent here is just sunflower oil, not the usual toxic chemicals found in other sunscreens. You only need to smear a small amount to cover. Do not "rub in." I noticed that after some time, the whiteness disappears from your face. In the meantime, (for women only) - if you want to look good, dab face powder on all over your face with a cotton ball, then dab on some cheek color.
